Urgent help
SafeEar is a listening service, not an emergency service. If you are in crisis, please reach one of these free services now.
Call 112 (national emergency number) or go to the nearest hospital emergency department. If you can, ask someone you trust to stay with you.
Talk to a trained counsellor, free, 24x7
Tele-MANAS — the Government of India's national mental-health helpline, in many Indian languages.
Browsing safely
If someone might see your screen, leave quickly for a plain search page. On the SafeEar website, the Leave quickly button at the top (or pressing Shift three times) does the same and stops Back from returning here. In the SafeEar app, simply switch away from or close the app. Neither can delete your browser history: on a shared phone, use a private or incognito window, or clear your history afterwards.
While you wait
Move away from anything you could use to hurt yourself, and stay near other people if you can. You can keep talking to a SafeEar listener too, but please call one of the numbers above first.
